Introduction
Many a times there could be issues with several data records and it could be really difficult to find the records as well as the associated issues. Oracle HCM Cloud makes life simpler by “Diagnostic Framework”. We have already seen a couple of worked out example in the following posts:

In this post we will try to run “HCM WS Positions Data Diagnostic” and check the results.
Worked Out Example
We would need to login to application with a user having appropriate access (HCM_IMPL) and navigate to “Run Diagnostic Tests” and search for “HCM WS Positions Data Diagnostic” test.
If we click on the details tab we could find the detailed description about the Diagnostic test
And if we click on “Parameters” we can see the following details
By default , we pass % as position code (this fetches details for all positions in the system) and print details as ‘N’ ( does not prints the input value passed).
For our example, we will pass three different position codes and verify results
Position Code: HEUSPOSE001
Print Detail : Y
Position Code: Analyst_CN
Print Detail: Y
Position Code: POS021
Print Details: Y

So, this is how one can validate whether a specific position has all the correct details associated with it. In case of any discrepancy one can take necessary actions and resolve issues.
